Cole Clark is a real estate attorney in the New Markets and Historic Tax Credit practice group at Bocarsly Emden Cowan Esmail & Arndt LLP.
His practice focuses on commercial real estate and structured finance, with an emphasis on transactions involving the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit (HTC).
Cole has experience structuring complex real estate transactions involving multiple layers of public and private financing, including tax credit equity and government subsidies. He also advises clients on joint venture development, leasing, and regulatory compliance in connection with HUD and other federal programs.
Prior to joining Bocarsly Emden, Cole practiced at a boutique transactional law firm in Los Angeles and previously clerked at Milbank LLP. He earned his J.D. from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and holds a B.A. in Philosophy from UC San Diego.
Outside of work, Cole leads an active lifestyle, enjoys strength training, and remains engaged in community-based initiatives.
