Low Income Tax Credit Development

The lawyers of Bocarsly Emden routinely represent nonprofit and for profit developers using federal and state low income housing tax credits in the development of affordable and mixed income multi-family housing projects.

In connection with this representation, we assist our developer clients in structuring and negotiating investments by tax credit equity investors as well as loans by conventional and governmental lenders, including tax-exempt bond transactions. To date, Bocarsly Emden lawyers have represented clients on over a thousand affordable housing transactions in more than thirty states.
