Sharona Daneshrad

Sharona Daneshrad is a Partner in the Los Angeles office of Bocarsly Emden where she focuses on general real estate, affordable housing and community development projects.

She represents investors and developers in connection with the acquisition, financing and syndication of projects utilizing the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program. Prior to joining Bocarsly Emden, Ms. Daneshrad was an associate at Alston & Bird LLP in Los Angeles, where her practice focused on representing equity sponsors and financial institutions in a variety of secured financings, including asset-based and cash flow acquisition financings, and representing banks and institutional investors in the origination, servicing and sale of commercial real estate debt.

Ms. Daneshrad received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2013 as a member of the St. Thomas Moore Honors Society and the Dean’s Honors List. During law school, she served as a legal extern for the Honorable Susan Bryant-Deason, and was as a certified law student advocate in the Youth Justice Education Clinic. Ms. Daneshrad received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Psychology with a Minor in Education, from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010. Ms. Daneshrad is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
